WINCHESTER, Va. - The Dickinson women's cross-country team continued their solid start to the season by placing third on Saturday at the 17th Annual Shenandoah University Hornet Harrier Invitational 6K.
Leading the way for the Red Devils was Meghan McGinnis, who earned a third-place finish with a time of 24:50.4. Sophomore duo Roma Diak and Alicia MacMillan followed in 13th and 14th place, respectively, with times of 25:43.5 and 26:06.2.
Breanna Franchak finished 17th in 26:16.4, followed by Natalia Krantz in 21st with a time of 26:24.5. Marley Kurey (22nd) and Ellie Drescher (25th) rounded out Dickinson's top seven, finishing in 26:25.0 and 26:36.4, respectively.
Dickinson posted a team score of 55 to take third, behind Washington & Lee (23) and Shenandoah University (51) in a field of 47 athletes.
