CARLISLE, Pa. The Dickinson women's soccer team could not find the back of the net on Saturday afternoon but also held the visiting Diplomats of Franklin & Marshall without a score at Miller Memorial Field.
First half
Pico Gray was called upon early for the Red and White, stopping an attempt from Meg Balerna in the 5th minute and another from Kyra Magerko in the 14th.
Lucy Fleming got to work later in the half, stuffing shots from Ivana Vukas in the 33rd minute and Anna Bitsko in the 37th.
Two late corner kicks in quick succession for the Diplomats, both in the 42nd minute, failed to result in a shot, and the game went to halftime knotted at 0.
The Devils had the first shot on goal of the half when Joelle Ma challenged Fleming in the 55th minute, but the Diplomats keeper denied the attempt.
