Thoughts on schedule
We are excited to play a very tough and competitive schedule that can rival some of the best in the country. We will always pride ourselves on striving to be elite and that means working to prepare ourselves in the preseason so that we are ready for September and ultimately playing meaning football come early November.
What have you seen in the preseason that has you excited?
I have been thrilled with our veteran returning group and our leadership core. They have set a standard that they expect everyone to follow and they have protected that same standard all throughout the preseason. We have had great energy and have been ultra competitive throughout camp. Our first-years have also showed great promise which is exciting to see.
How are your first-years adapting to the college game?
They have developed throughout camp so far. It is a very deep and talented group that have leaned on the leadership of our veterans and have bought into the team culture right away.
What should fans expect when they come out to watch your side play?
