The additional funding in the recently signed 2026-27 budget will be used to purchase modern equipment for EMS professionals, such as video laryngoscopes, automatic external defibrillators and intravenous (IV) pumps, ensuring they have the most up-to-date tools to enhance the quality and efficiency of emergency care in Pennsylvania.
