TRENTON, New Jersey — The Trenton Thunder took advantage of two Harrisburg Senators (63-53 overall, 20-25 second half) errors to plate two unearned runs in the Senators 5-3 loss Friday night.

Rhett Wiseman hit a solo home run and Michael A. Taylor hit a two-run home run which put the Sens on top 3-2 in the fifth. But Harrisburg couldn’t hold the lead, committing an error in the fifth which led to two runs scoring, and another in the seventh which allowed an insurance run to score.

Tyler Mapes started and pitched six solid frames, but took the loss.
