Harrisburg RBI took its first loss on Wednesday to Houston Astros RBI 6-2 in the championship bracket final of the 2019 MLB Softball RBI World Series. A win in the consolation bracket final 4-0 over Rays RBI Tampa set up a grand final for Harrisburg — a rematch against Houston Astros.
In Game 1's loss, Kara Neidigh tallied an RBI and Hailee Beaver-Beaston scored a run. Jenna Mongold picked up the loss in the circle, pitching four innings and allowing five hits.
In game 2, Mongold tallied two RBIs and a home run, while Beaver-Beaston had one run and an RBI. Courtney Coppersmith got the W in the circle, pitching seven innings, allowing three hits and striking out 11.
Harrisburg's rematch with Houston Astros is set for 10 a.m. on Thursday.
