Shippensburg's Jazmin Petrantonio was named the 2018 Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division II Atlantic Region Player of the Year on Tuesday. Petrantonio becomes one of two finalists for the 2018 Longstreth/NFHCA Division II National Player of the Year award, to be announced Wednesday. She ranked fourth in the nation in goals per game (1.22) and points per game (2.7), and she led the PSAC with 28 goals (including nine game-winning goals) and 62 points while posting six assists.
Shippensburg women's lacrosse has announced a winter instructional clinic for prospective student-athletes at the high school level to be held on Sunday, Feb. 24. The primary clinic will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and be held outside at Robb Sports Complex. The first session will feature stick work, positional work and small drills. A second session will feature full-field drills and a scrimmage. A goaltending clinic will be held from 9:15 a.m.-10 a.m. before the primary instructional clinic.
Dickinson men's basketball downed Haverford 66-58 behind a team-leading 17 points from Adam Drummond. Elijah Wright added 15 points in the win, while both Bryce Allen and Mike Hinckley added 12 points.
Dickinson women's basketball fell to Haverford 64-52. Kate Deutsch notched 14 points and seven rebounds in the win, while Hannah Heiring added 11 points.
