  • Shippensburg men’s track and field won its 11th-straight 2019 PSAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships title on Saturday, finishing above everyone else with 145.5 points. Johnathon Stiles ran the fastest time in the nation this season in the 400 hurdles, an automatic qualifier of 50.90 seconds, that broke the meet record (51.42 in 2008 by Lock Haven’s Paul Martin). Charles Bowman won the 110 hurdles in 14.23 seconds. He finished second to Stiles in the 400 hurdles in 51.74 seconds, a time that ranks fourth in the nation.
  • Shippensburg women’s outdoor track and field scored more than 100 points (104) at the conference meet for the 12th consecutive year, ultimately finishing third overall at the 2019 PSAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Morgan DeFloria won her second conference championship in the javelin, launching a season-best throw of 154 feet, 2 inches. Tatiana Purnell finished second in the 400 hurdles (1:02.98), fourth in the 100 hurdles (15.13) and running on the 4x400 relay that posted a season best of 3:57.17.
