Ben Dum, a 2015 All-Sentinel Baseball Co-Player of the Year, is busy putting together perhaps his best season yet at VCU.

The right-handed junior is setting career highs as a reliever for the Rams. In 15 appearances for the 31-16 Rams, he’s 5-6 with two saves. His last win, April 6 against La Salle, gave him 10 for his career.

While he’s suffered three losses in the month since, Dum’s ERA has dropped to 2.70.

The former Mustangs ace has also hit career highs in innings pitched (56.2), strikeouts (55) and currently strikeouts per 9 innings (8.74).

VCU has 10 games left before the Atlantic 10 Tournament. The Rams are 13-5 in conference play currently, which currently leads the conference.
