Shippensburg wrapped up regular tournament play with a 10th-place team finish at West Branch's Ultimate Warrior Tournament on Saturday.
The Greyhounds got an even 100 points, with fellow Mid-Penn Conference member Mifflin County finishing second (148.5 points).
Ship had one champion on the day: heavyweight Cole Forrester. The senior 220-pounder beat Altoona's Parker McClellan 9-5, pulling off a cycle of sorts by winning by fall in the Round of 16, by technical fall in the quarterfinals and by major decision in the semifinals.
Dylan Ramsey also made the 120 title bout but fell 10-0 to St. Joe's Catholic's Zack Witmer. Ramsey won his first three matches by decision.
Jeffrey Russell (113) recovered from a quarterfinals loss to claim third place with an 11-7 win over Blairsville's Jack Bruce.
- Big Spring thumped West Perry 54-15, getting pinfall victories from Hunter Hefflefinger (182), Wade Barrick (113), Wyatt Hoffman (120) and Brandon Fraker (145).
