Trinity swept Boiling Springs in two fairly contested matches on Thursday. The Shamrocks boys, 86-84 winners, picked up multiple victories from Tommy Chase (200 IM, 100 breast, 200 medley relay) and Scott Majka (500 free, 100 fly, 200 medley relay, 400 free relay). The Bubblers were led by Evan Kase, who claimed the 200 free, 100 back and 200 free relay. On the girls side, which belonged to the Shamrocks 97-73, Apple Burton touched the wall first in the 200 free, 50 free and both free relays. Bramely Hawkins won the 200 IM and 100 free, plus aided in both free relay wins. And Lila DiCarlo got four wins (200 medley relay, 100 fly, 100 back, 400 free relay). The Bubblers' lone win belonged to Abbie Ermie in the 100 breaststroke.
Cumberland Valley picked up a 100-85 win (boys) and 138-47 victory (girls) to sweep Chambersburg. Big winners were the boys' Logan Skiles (50 free, 100 free, 200 free relay, 400 free relay) and the girls' Carolyn Bolden (100 free, 200 medley relay, 200 free relay), Lauren Chang (50 free, 500 free, 400 free relay).
State College had little trouble with Carlisle, winning on the boys side 131-39 and on the girls side 124-46. The Thundering Herd did not win a single race.
Kate Luft claimed the 200 IM, 100 free, 200 free relay and 400 free relay in Northern's girls win over James Buchanan 117-59. The boys won 133-24 behind big days from Sean Clarke (200 IM, 100 back, 200 medley relay, 400 free relay) and Ben Graham (100 fly, 100 breast, 200 medley relay, 400 free relay).
