  • Boiling Springs beat Mechanicsburg on the road in a Mid-Penn crossover dual-meet Thursday evening. In the boys' 94.5-74.5 win, Zach Orris claimed victories in the freestyle sprints, then helped the 200 and 400 free relay squads win by nearly seven seconds each. Joe Kovach won the 200 IM and 500 free for the Wildcats to keep it close. Cole Ellis picked up Bubblers wins in the 200 free and 100 breast. On the girls side, in a 91-79 Bubbletown win, it was a team effort that did the trick. Boiling Springs won just four events (200 medley relay, 200 free, 500 free and 100 back), with no one winning more than a single individual event. Priscilla Diamond did manage a pair of Mechanicsburg individual wins in the free sprints, as did Ilana Jacobson in the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke. The Boiling Springs boys moved to 4-1 and the girls to 2-3.
  • Trinity boys and girls each went 2-0 in a tri-meet against Cedar Cliff and Red Land. Top Shamrocks Sarah Wyant (50 free, 100 free), Alexis Majka (200 free, 500 free) owned the freestyle events, while Mimi Chase won the 100 back for the girls, who beat the Patriots 71-31 and the Colts 77-24. Zach Gallagher won the 200 IM and 100 breast for the Colts in the boys meet, which Trinity won 55-39 (and beat Red Land 66-31).
