  • Cailey Joyce tossed another no-hitter as East Pennsboro beat Mechanicsburg 6-0 Tuesday in the Mid-Penn Conference semifinals at Big Spring. Joyce fanned 15 batters in the game, more than two per inning. Once again she didn't allow a walk, either. Her only blemish was one hit batter. Kara Birosak (1-for-1) hit a solo home run and scored one other run, Joyce went 1-for-3 with two RBIs and a double and Emma Shepler (2-for-3) scored and stole a base. 
  • The Wildcats will face Chambersburg in Thursday's conference championship game, pending weather. The Trojans won a wild game against Colonial Division champ Shippensburg 10-9. The Greyhounds trailed 8-0 through the top of the fifth inning, then rallied to score nine runs over the next two frames. Morgan Fetter (1-for-3) hit a grand slam, the fourth home run in three games with that drove in at least three runs. Hayleigh Highlands (2-for-4) also homered, doubled, scored twice and drove in two more. Brooklyn Miller's liner to right scored the Trojans' tying and winning runs in the top of the seventh.
