This week really did have its highs and lows.
Monday we pulled out another huge win at Chambersburg, beating them 22-4. Our transitions and ball movement were on point. Then on Thursday we had a great team win against Mechanicsburg 25-3. Our defense looked solid, stopping fast breaks, which helped to create opportunities for our offense.
Next came our game Saturday at Exeter. We knew going into this game it was going to mean a lot for district standings. We had a lot of rage in us from last year since they beat us in districts, so we were eager to come out and play.
We got ourselves into a hole in the beginning of the game. However, we didn’t let this stop us. After we tied it 9-9, it was back and forth the rest of the game. It wasn’t the outcome we had hoped for with a loss of 14-13.
We are not going to let this game affect us for the remainder of the season. This loss is only going to motivate us to gain back the momentum we lost. This week we are ready to come back with intensity and to begin our winning streak again.
