TJ Meanor In My Words

After the two week break for the holidays, the team was ready to get back to playing.

We had one practice during the week before our first game back this past Friday against Manheim Central. Everyone was a little rusty when it first started. Then once we started going, we got the energy and flow that we wanted to carry through the game. The game started out rough and we could not get firing as a unit.

The game was back-and-forth and it was 3-3 towards the end of the second period. Then we scored four unanswered goals to win the game 7-3. We had three shorthanded goals, two coming in the third period. One was from Christian Holtzapple and one from Jesse Troutman.

It was not our best game we have played, but it was enough to get the job done in our first game back. This upcoming week we have two more big games coming up. One game on Monday against the Shamrocks at Twin Ponds West at 9:15 and the other one on Friday at 9 at Klick Lewis Arena against Elizabethtown.

These are must win games with us getting closer to playoffs and to see where we are going to be seeded. If you are looking for something to do come out and watch these great games and support us.
