Well this week finally caught up to us.
We got off to another one of our slow starts and we could not recover. Hempfield scored a quick one on us right at the beginning and they never looked back from there. They had the energy and more heart than we did the whole game. The score ended up being 3-0 and they got a big win going into the playoffs. That win for them is going to help them greatly with seeding for the playoffs.
Now we must look forward, that game is in the past and we control our destiny now with our last game. Our game on Feb. 4 is against Warwick at 7:45 at Twin Ponds East. This is our biggest game of the season. It will decide what seed we are going to be going into the playoffs and if we get a bye with home ice advantage for all of playoffs.
On top of all of that, it is senior night. The seniors have been looking forward to this game all season and do not want to lose it. There is no other option than for us to win. I know that I and the rest of the seniors will be doing everything we can to make sure we come out on top at the end of the game. Aside from our last game, Jesse Troutman, Alex Rigling and myself will be playing in the All-Star game this upcoming Wednesday at York City Ice Arena at 8:15. Come out and support us if you want to watch some more hockey.
