Our team started off the week strong with a 3-0 win against Steel-High.
However, the win wasn’t the most important part of the night. Shelby Hoffeditz made her senior year debut on the court.
After suffering a broken collarbone injury over the summer, Hoffeditz, one of our starting middle hitters, was ready to come back to the court. Although her recovery time was less than two months, our whole team felt like it had been forever since we had played alongside her. Needless to say, she picked up right where she left off. We are all excited to have her for the rest of the season.

Although we love to play volleyball, we also feel that it is important to give back to the community. On Friday, our entire team volunteered at a picnic for adults with mental illnesses and disorders. We served food and talked to some of the attendees. We could tell that it truly made their day that we were there and able to help.
This coming week, we play James Buchanan at home on Tuesday, Boiling Springs away on Thursday and Shippensburg on our home court on Saturday.
