Jonathan Wescoe's short-handed goal with 6:29 to play was enough to draw Cumberland Valley even with Hershey in a 5-5 tie. Wescoe's tally was unassisted and capped off his hat trick. He scored goals in each period and assisted on CV's (1-1, 2 points) two other goals. Down 4-3 entering the third, Aidan Moyer scored just 2:44 in to tie it. But Hershey's Brady Bown (two goals) put his team back up just a few minutes later. Wescoe tied it back up shortly after that. Hershey scored on a pair of power play goals.
MSM United struggled against a Lampeter Strasburg side that pelted the offensive zone with shots, falling 5-2 on Wednesday. Logan Thompson and Gage Baker scored a pair of unassisted goals for MSM (0-1, 0 points), while Benjamin Lynam tallied two goals for LS in the win. Jack Laser and Charles Braught IV each had a third-period goal and assist. MSM's Vaughn Hennessy stopped 30 of the 35 shots he faced.
