The 2019 high school football season is officially under way.

Monday marked the start of heat acclimation week, the official first practices of the fall season. All of the Sentinel-area teams kicked off practice in the morning, afternoon or evening.

Full pads will be allowed starting next week, with scrimmages set for that weekend. The first week of games is Aug. 23.
