Carlisle boys defended their Commonwealth Division crown (8-0, 6-0) for the third year in a row, claiming a 23-33 victory over Chambersburg on Monday.

Four of the Top 5 spots went to the Thundering Herd, with Casey Padgett finishing first with a 16:42 and teammate Jack Wisner right behind him in second with 17:05. Evan Peachey finished fourth with 17:18 and Bryce Dunkelberger rounded out the Top 5 with a 17:25.

The Herd girls also defended their Commonwealth crown (8-0, 6-0) with a 15-47 win over Chambersburg. All six top spots went to Carlisle, with Sophia Toti taking first with 21:58. Alyson Henry came in second with a 22:10, Gretal Shank placed third (22:14), Sophie Salomone fourth (22:18), Alyssa Dyson fifth (22:21) and Cera Schulke sixth (22:26).
