  • Zach Russell fired six strong innings Wednesday, fanning eight to hold CD East in check as Mechanicsburg won 9-3 at home. He got help from Dylan Hellam, among other Wildcats (8-2, 6-2 Keystone), who went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored. 
  • Red Land handed Northern its first loss of the year, putting up five runs in the sixth to walk away with a 7-3 victory. Luke Wagner had himself another strong day for the Patriots (10-1), punching out six in six innings on the mound and scoring twice on a 1-for-3 day at the plate. Bryce Andrews led the Polar Bears (8-1) at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a run and RBI. 
  • Camp Hill edged James Buchanan in a 2-1 pitchers' duel. Luke Goodyear won the showdown, firing 5.2 innings that included 11 strikeouts. He scattered just four hits. At the dish, he went 1-for-4 with a run, and Carey Myers was 2-for-4 with an RBI.
  • Shippensburg got out early and held on for a 7-2 win over visiting West Perry. Nick Weltz (2-for-3) doubled, stole a base and drove in three runs for the Greyhounds, who got a complete-game effort from Luke Davis. Aidan Zerby was the Mustangs' only source of offense, cracking a solo homer and scoring WP's other run on a 1-for-2 day.
