  • Boiling Springs opened its season the same day as Major League Baseball, and did so in winning fashion. The Bubblers topped James Buchanan in a 6-3 road victory Thursday thanks to two-hit days from Zack VonStein (RBI, run scored) and Trey Pinder (two RBIs). Charlie White also threw three shutout innings of relief for the win.
  • Four runs in the first three innings proved enough for Mechanicsburg in a 4-1 win over Bishop McDevitt. Josh Jamiolkowski (1-for-3) stroked a triple, scored and drove in a run, and Levi Tamosaitis (1-for-2) scored two runs in the win. Jamiolkowski also earned the save with two innings of work, backing up winning pitcher Zach Russell.
  • Shippensburg stormed back from a 5-0 deficit to beat Big Spring 6-5 in eight innings. Chandler Durf's walk-off sac-fly was the difference, driving in Christian Melendez, who had advanced to third on a passed ball. Braden Petty was 1-for-4 with a triple and two RBIs for the Bulldogs.
