This note is to urge a vote for Jean Foschi for county commissioner in Cumberland County. Every time I hear her speak or talk directly with her, I’m impressed by how committed and sensible she is. Her experience and personal characteristics are exactly what Cumberland County government needs.
County government requires managing people, managing money and focusing on the long-term future of Cumberland County. Jean Foschi will be superb in all these roles. She has a degree in political science and a paralegal certificate from Penn State. Her practical business experience includes managing restaurants and doing the nitty-gritty work needed to evaluate contracts, verify real estate titles and collect delinquent business loans. Since 2005 she’s served on the Zoning Hearing Board of Upper Allen Township and is its current chairperson. She’s married with two children.
Jean Foschi listens well and has a refreshingly non-partisan mindset. She’s a Democrat for whom my many Republican friends can vote with full confidence that they’ll be helping to elect a county commissioner who has both the commitment and the capability to give Cumberland County taxpayers thoughtful and far-sighted leadership.
