My father, Jaime Keating, is running for District Attorney.
I am the oldest of four — two girls, two boys. I am a Girl Scout Gold Awardee; both of my brothers are Eagle Scouts. My parents have raised us by example to work within our community and be the change we want to see.
While some people talk about effecting change, Dad is one of those people that embraces that change. He is “real.” He’s helped coach baseball; been a huge basketball, track, and volleyball fan; a volunteer on many Eagle projects; merit badge counselor to hundreds on their Scouting journey; active within our parish; frequent speaker at school functions ranging from Dr. Seuss Day guest reader, middle/high school social media and drug forums, to college classrooms. He also routinely lectures for police and prosecutors statewide. His routine and consistent interaction with youth and our community exemplify his commitment to Cumberland County’s future.
Over the past few months as his campaign gained even more momentum, he’s received hundreds of contacts from people he’s helped over the years. They’ve been parents/families of victims, witnesses from different cases, jurors, even several defendants who credit him with saving their lives. Their messages have been clear — Jaime Keating is a tough but fair prosecutor.
I encourage Cumberland County voters (particularly its younger voters on whom this election will impact for quite some time), to join me and vote for Jaime Keating for District Attorney.
