MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (AP) — Police investigating product tampering seized medication packaging, glue, jars and white cream during the search of a home in the Harrisburg suburbs.

An affidavit used to get the warrant executed on Friday at a Mechanicsburg home says the suspect returned items to the same grocery store at least 24 times since late January.

The affidavit says the suspect returned toothpaste, eye cream, pain relief cream and shampoo that had been tampered with.

Police say they don't yet know what substance was used to refill the containers but warn it could be dangerous for anyone to use.

The items were returned to stores in the West Shore suburbs.

Authorities say they have no reports of people being sickened but want those who purchased tampered items to call police.
