Arc happy to be part of United Way
On behalf of the nearly 2,000 individuals and families that our agency, The Arc of Cumberland and Perry Counties, supports each year, I would like to thank the United Way of Carlisle and Cumberland Counties for its tremendous support of our organization and many others that provide critical community services.
In these times of fiscal challenges, nonprofit organizations such as our agency, (also known as CPARC), relies greatly on the support from the United Way and our community partners. Funding from the United Way is available to CPARC because of the generosity of people and businesses in our community. The United Way of Carlisle and Cumberland County funding greatly assists CPARC’s vital Residential and Advocacy Programs for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
At CPARC, we are proud to be a program partner with the United Way and congratulate everyone involved in achieving its annual campaign goal. It is a privilege to live and work in such a giving community that shares a mission to make a difference in the lives of others.
