The National Weather Service has now issued a winter weather advisory for Cumberland County from noon Monday through noon Tuesday.

The weather service said heavy, mixed precipitation is possible during this time frame, with total snow accumulations of up to 6 inches possible, as well as possibly one-tenth of an inch of ice. The watch is for Cumberland, Perry and Adams counties.

The National Weather Service issued a Winter Storm Watch that will be in effect from Monday afternoon to Tuesday morning.

The weather service said heavy, mixed precipitation is possible during this time frame, with total snow accumulations of up to 6 inches possible, as well as possibly one-tenth of an inch of ice. The watch is for Cumberland, Perry and Adams counties.

The weather service said about an inch of snow will be on the ground Monday morning at sunrise.

Heavier precipitations will occur from mid-day Monday into Tuesday.

Residents should plan on difficult travel conditions, including during both the evening commute on Monday and morning commute on Tuesday.
