Supporters pack Silver Spring Township Chick-Fil-A on 'Appreciation Day' (with VIDEO)

Chick-Fil-A's Appreciation Day brought out hundreds of people Wednesday to the Silver Spring Township location - the only Chick-Fil-A location in Cumberland County.

The Appreciation Day was created for people who wanted to show their support for the company, whose CEO, Dan Cathy, reaffirmed his anti-same sex marriage position.

Plenty of area residents were out there Wednesday - enough to force Silver Spring Township Police to barricade some of the entrances into the area and force motorists into the main entrance.

While supporters were out today, protesters are expected at the restaurant on Friday with "Kiss Mor Chiks" day, where same sex couples will arrive at the restaurant and kiss outside. That day is backed by Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD).
