A cut line caused a massive disruption in terms of phone and Internet services from Pa.net today.

Pa.net is telling customers that a line was cut, causing the Mechanicsburg facility to lose control over its services, which provides phone and Internet to residents and businesses in the region.

Because of the cut line, there is no way for customers to get in contact with customer service at Pa.net, and a reporter at Pa.net reports that customers are driving in from all over the county to talk to someone at the East Trindle Road company.

Pa.net did not give an explanation as to why the line was cut, though there is construction on Trindle Road.

Pa.net said at 12:30 p.m., that the estimated return of service time is an hour.
