Meet Marley and Iris.
Marley is a gentle, trusting beagle who is about 5 years old and weighs 28 pounds. She spent her life being used for hunting and breeding. When she came to the rescue, the vet discovered she had a mammary tumor, which was removed and found to be benign.
Now, Marley is relaxing in her foster home, enjoying herself and being pampered for the first time. She is friendly with people of all ages and with other dogs. She is a kind, spirited dog who would fit well in almost any situation.
Marley loves to go for walks and be with people. She is easy to care for and undemanding. Because she is not used to being left alone for long periods of time, she would do better in a home where she will not be left alone for more than 6 hours a day.
Iris and her two kittens were originally found dumped in a trailer park. Someone found them, took them in for a short amount of time, but abandoned them again when Iris tested positive for FIV.
Iris is a precious girl who loved her babies. The kittens have since been adopted, and Iris has flourished into her own unique personality. She meows and chirps and flops over for belly rubs. She loves to play and purr.
This kitty has had initial vaccinations, de-worming, flea preventative and has been micro-chipped and altered or will be to be ready for adoption then.
