Meet Bambi and Emmy.
Bambi is a 3-year-old Chihuahua who weighs about 8 or 9 pounds and is almost completely housebroken. She is a wee bit shy at first, but it doesn’t take long for her loving nature to surface.
She enjoys having her neck scratched and playing with her toys. She walks beautifully on a leash, bonds quickly and will become a devoted shadow in no time.
Bambi also has a sister, Mini. They would love to be adopted together, but it is not required.
Emmy is a petite tuxedo kitten that was rescued in Palmyra. She would do best in a quiet home as the only cat or with a similar-sized male kitten. She had a difficult start in life and is still a bit skittish. She is independent, but will greet you in the morning and may allow you to pick her up.
She does not like being held for long and will let you know when she wants down. She loves to scratch on horizontal scratch pads, though doesn’t use the vertical scratch pads. She also loves to play with her mouse toy, and enjoys sitting by the window, snoozing in cozy places and getting scratches under her chin and behind her ears. Emmy does allow her foster mother to brush her and pet her belly.
This kitty has had initial vaccinations, de-worming, flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and has been micro-chipped and altered or will be to be ready for adoption then.
