Meet Ben and Jackie.
Wyler is quite a fellow. He’s a 4-month-old gray-and-white tabby guy who has been through a lot for his young age. When he came to the shelter as a stray, we found he had a pretty sizable hernia.
Meet Biscuit and Cosmo.
Tank was surrendered to the shelter because his owner could no longer care for him. He’s a 2-year-old lab/terrier mix who loves attention. He can be a little possessive of rawhides, so it’s recommended his new owners not give him those.
Meet Stewie and P-Nut.
Two bunnies who are bonded are this week’s pets of the week.
Meet Silas and Missy.
Duke Kaboom came into the shelter as a stray so we know very little about his past. He is already neutered and we’re thinking he’s about 2 years old and a Rottweiler/Boxer mix.
Echo is a 7-year-old boxer mix who was surrendered to the shelter because his owners could no longer care for him. Don’t let the age fool you – this guy has energy to spare!
Hooch came to the shelter because he was found swimming in someone’s pool during a thunderstorm. He’s a 6-year-old terrier/bulldog mix who is the sweetest guy.
Crash was brought into the shelter as a stray with (who we assume is) his brother, Eddie. We are not sure of their past, but at some point they had to have been someone’s babies because we found out they were already neutered on their intake exam.
Hickory, Dickory and Pop are three rats who were surrendered to the shelter because their owner could no longer care for them. They came in with nine brothers! They are 7 weeks old and have been hand-raised. They love attention and are super friendly. The rats are to be adopted as pets and n…
Believe it or not, Mr. Wiggles came into the shelter as a stray, so we don’t know anything about his history, but we do know he is one happy boy. He’s a 5-year-old, 93-pound black lab who was named Mr. Wiggles because his whole body wiggles when he meets people.
Yugi was surrendered to the shelter because his owner could no longer care for him due to their health. Yugi was adopted from CVAS as a kitten and is now around 2 years old. Yugi is a sweet, orange-and-white guy who loves attention and loves to play with the teaser toys at the shelter. He wo…
Buttercup was returned to the shelter after living in an adopted home for two years. It took her a little bit to adjust to shelter life, so we gave her space in one of the back offices. Now she has really come out of her shell and loves to have company. If you think Buttercup might be the on…

Edgar is an all-white rabbit who came into the shelter as an owner surrender in January, and he’s still looking for his second chance. He’s a 2-year-old, nice boy who doesn’t mind being handled and is neutered. Can you help Edgar out?
Mason was surrendered to the shelter because someone in the home was allergic to him. He’s about 9 years old, but he certainly does not act like an older gentleman! He loves to run, and he is a very skilled vocalist. Mason regularly sings the blues here at the shelter. This may change once h…
Deon was surrendered to the shelter because his owner could no longer care for him. He is an 8-years-old spitz/beagle mix, but don’t let his age fool you. He’s quite an active guy. He can also get quite loud when he is excited, so apartment living may not be best for Deon.
Lemongrass is a 4-year-old gray-and-white girl who is mostly blind. We think she might be able to see light and shadow, but she can’t see much. She’s also really small for an adult cat. We’re not sure what might have happened to her, but she is very sweet. Lemongrass loves to hug and is alwa…
