DILLSBURG — There were no injuries after a recreational vehicle erupted in flames Wednesday afternoon in Dillsburg.

Carroll Township Police said crews responded to the scene at 19 W. Greenhouse Road at 2:35 p.m. Wednesday. The vehicle, which is owned by Thomas Wertman, was parked near his home when it caught fire.

First responders were able to control the blaze within minutes of arriving on the scene, but the cause of the fire remains under investigation, police said.

There was no one in the vehicle at the time the fire started. There are no estimates on damages, but the vehicle was a total loss, police said.

Dillsburg Citizens Hose, Franklintown Community and Monaghan Township companies responded to the scene.
