Meet the Cumberland Ag Expo Queen & Junior Queen contestants

The Cumberland Ag Expo runs Saturday through Aug. 13 at the Newville Lion’s Club Fairgrounds at 433 Shippensburg Road, Newville. The Miss Cumberland Ag Expo Queen & Junior Queen will be held on Monday at 7 p.m. at the fairgrounds.

Miss Cumberland Ag Expo Junior Queen contestants:

Grade: Sixth grade at at Big Spring Middle School

Family: Daughter of Stephanie Bigler and step-daughter of Vance Kitner, both of Newville. She has one older sibling, Samantha

Activities: Honor roll student; Safety Patrol Crew; swimming; Christian camp; 4-H; hobbies include fishing, hunting, riding bike, listening to music and spending time with her family and friends

Activities: Student council for seven years (two years as treasurer); football manager for three years; Historian/Webmaster of T.E.M.P.U.S. Club (two years); attends the Newville First Church of God and Youth Group; employed at Saylor’s Market; interned at Mount Rock Elementary School
