Local funeral arrangements were released Monday for a Carlisle High School graduate who was shot and killed in Nashville, Tennessee, Thursday.
The funeral for Kyle Yorlets, 24, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Carlisle Evangelical Free Church in South Middleton Township, according to arrangements announced by Ewing Brothers Funeral Home. Viewings will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home at 630 S. Hanover St. in Carlisle, and also Saturday at Carlisle Evangelical Free Church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
Yorlets, a 2013 graduate of Carlisle High School and the son of Larry and Debra (Reese) Yorlets of Carlisle, was a member of the band Carverton in Nashville, where he also graduated from Belmont University in 2017.

He was fatally shot outside his home in Nashville Thursday, Metropolitan Nashville police said.
Five juveniles in a stolen pickup truck were in an alley behind Yorlets’ home when they spotted him outside, police said in a statement. They are accused of stealing his wallet, demanding the keys to his vehicle and shooting him when he refused.
Authorities later arrested five youths at a Nashville store and recovered two stolen, loaded pistols. The suspects, ranging in age from 12 to 16, were charged with criminal homicide and prosecutors are seeking to try them as adults.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a memorial scholarship fund in Yorlets' name that is being established and will be announced later this week, according to the family.
A memorial service was to be held Monday at Belmont University, Carverton announced this weekend.
