This week’s Tour Through Time looks at the William Kramer residence at the corner of College and South streets in Carlisle.
The house was built in 1910 and purchased around 1913 by Kramer, who lived there until his death in 1944. The renovated house is now home to Smith-Steiner Bed & Breakfast.
Tour Through Time will run Saturdays in The Sentinel as a joint project with the Cumberland County Historical Society.
Sentinel photographer Michael Bupp works with staff at the Historical Society each week to offer a look at Carlisle and the surrounding area through the years.
