This week’s Tour Through Time looks at five photos showing Hurricane Agnes flood damage to the Reading G&H Branch railroad tracks at Carlisle Junction near Mount Holly Springs.
The photos were taken in July 1972 and in March 1974. The line to Carlisle was never rebuilt.
Tour Through Time will run Saturdays in The Sentinel as a joint project with the Cumberland County Historical Society.
Sentinel photographer Michael Bupp will work with staff at the Historical Society each week to offer a look at Carlisle and the surrounding area through the years.
