Republican U.S. Rep. George Gekas recently conducted a survey of constituents that found a majority of central Pennsylvania residents believe freedom of choice should be an integral part of any health care reform proposal. The survey also found that three-quarters of respondents favor a middle class tax cut while 43 percent say budget reform and deficit reduction should be a priority of Congress through the rest of 1994.
