Rep. Sheryl Delozier (R-Cumberland) will host her seventh annual breakfast and recognition ceremony to honor veterans and active-duty military personnel residing in the 88th Legislative District.
All service members are welcome to participate, regardless of when they served.
The event will take place on Thursday at the First Church of God Community Center, 201 E. Green St., Mechanicsburg. Doors open at 7:30 a.m. The program begins at 8 a.m. All veterans will be receive a patriotic pin.
“I am so grateful to our veterans and active-duty service members for the sacrifices they make to protect and defend our nation. This breakfast is just one small way to thank them for what they do,” Delozier said.
Capt. Kyle A. Bryan will be this year’s keynote speaker for the event, with a focus on “Our Military Bases and Our Communities.” He is the commanding officer of Naval Support Activity Mechanicsburg, Naval Support Activity Philadelphia and the Philadelphia Navy Yard Annex.
Veterans and active-duty personnel are invited to bring a guest to the event. However, seating is limited, and registration is required. Those interested in attending can register online at RepDelozier.com or call Delozier’s district office at (717) 761-4665.
