Cumberland Valley School District’s elementary school principals found a musical way to bring news of a two-hour delay to their students Monday morning.

That delay later turned into a cancellation.

The district posted a video titled “A Two-Hour Delay Is Born” in which the teachers changed the words of Lady Gaga’s song “Shallow” to let the students know about the delay and that they were fully expected to show up for school later.

The song started with the lyric, “Tell us something kids, were you expecting us to tell you this? You know you need more. These are the words you’ve been waiting for ... snow delay.”

The posting came the morning after Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper won the Grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Song Written For Visual Media for “Shallow.”
