The state Department of Health reported Monday that there were 37 new cases of COVID-19 Sunday and another 10 cases in Monday's report in Cumberland County. No new deaths were reported either day.

The department does not release data on Sundays, so Monday's report includes data released for Sunday and Monday.

Sunday's report included 183 total test results, with nine new probables. Comparing just the number of negative tests (146) and confirmed positive tests (28), the county saw about 16% of its tests come back positive.

Monday's report included 59 total test results, with one new probable. Comparing just the number of negative tests (49) and confirmed positive tests (nine), the county saw about 15.5% of its tests come back positive.

The county's seven-day average of cases now sits at 45.43 and its 14-day per capita rate sits at 249.83.

On the Health Department's weekly update to its Early Warning Monitoring System Dashboard Friday, Cumberland County showed drops in percent positivity and incidence rate per 1,000 for the week of March 12-18. The county's incidence rate dropped to 4.4% (down from 4.8%) and its incidence rate dropped to 81.3 (down from 95.9.)

The state saw its percent positivity increase to 6.5% (up from 5.7%) and incidence rate increase to 110.8 (up from 100).
