The Cumberland County Board of Commissioners Monday adopted its $284.2 million budget for 2019.

The general fund is $87.7 million of the total budget, according to the county, and there is no tax increase for the fifth consecutive year.

The county said it remains in stable financial standing. The real estate millage remains at 2.195 mills, and the library millage rate remains at 0.166 mills.

The budget provides for services in the county, including those related to public health and safety, human services, courts and criminal justice, and community and environmental planning.
