Cumberland County Coroner Charley Hall has released the names of the people killed in a murder-suicide Sunday in East Pennsboro Township.

Around 4:45 p.m. Sunday, 55-year-old James Grundon shot his wife Sue E. Grundon, 54, both of East Pennsboro Township, before taking his own life, according to Hall.

Sue Grundon was transported to Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital where she was later pronounced dead, Hall said in a news release Monday Morning.

James Grundon was pronounced dead at the scene in the 800 block of Country Club Road in East Pennsboro Township, according to Hall.

An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday and the incident is under investigation by East Pennsboro Township Police.

Police in East Pennsboro Township are investigating what is believed to be a murder suicide that occurred Sunday night.

Sunday evening East Pennsboro Township Police responded to a home in the 800 block of Country Club Road in East Pennsboro Township where a man killed a woman inside the home before taking his own life, according to abc27 News.

No information about motive or names of the victims have been released at this time, abc27 reported.
