More than $100 was stolen from a man inside Walmart in Shippensburg Township during an alleged robbery Monday night.

Around 9 p.m., Christopher Anthony Sheibley, 24, of Shippensburg, and Daniel Keck, 23, of Carlisle, approached the victim from behind and Sheibley struck him in the neck, knocking him to the ground, State Police at Carlisle said.

Once on the ground, police said the men stole roughly $130 from the victim.

Keck is charged with two felony counts of felony conspiracy to commit robbery.

The victim told police Sheibley and Keck approached him in the bathroom and tried to sell him drugs. When he declined, he said the pair began to follow him around the store before assaulting and robbing him, police said.

Other witnesses said the two were heard talking about how someone owed them money before entering the Walmart, police said.

According to the affidavit of probable cause, surveillance footage from Walmart shows Sheibley and Keck approach the victim and shows Sheibley punching and kicking the victim.

Sheibley is being held in Cumberland County Prison in lieu of $48,000 bail. Keck was taken to Cumberland County Prison but released after posting $8,000 bail, according to court records.

Both men are awaiting a preliminary hearing.
