The following people were sentenced on June 18 in Cumberland County Court of Common Pleas. All sentences include costs and run concurrently with other sentences unless otherwise specified. Probation is unsupervised unless indicated otherwise. Driving under the influence offenses generate different mandatory-minimum sentences based on an offender’s prior convictions in the past 10 years.

Sentenced to State Correctional Institute

Harrisburg

  • John William Williams: 120 to 240 months and 120 hours of community service for kidnapping, 30 to 60 months for robbery, and 18 to 36 months for access device fraud. (Placey)

Sentenced to Probation

Harrisburg

  • Blair R. Howell: Two years of probation, $560 in restitution and a $100 fine for obscene and other sexual materials and performances and criminal use of a communication facility. (Peck)

Lemoyne

  • Salvatore J. Abate: Six months of probation for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and a $200 fine for unlawful possession of a small amount of marijuana. (Peck)

Other

  • Vincent C. Rizzo (Williamsport): 24 months of probation and a $200 fine for insurance fraud. (Masland)

Sentenced to Cumberland County Prison

Harrisburg

  • Larry Thomas Cuppett: 30 days to six months and a $1,000 fine for DUI-controlled substance. (Peck)

Mechanicsburg

  • Jeffery A. Manatt: Eight-and-one-half to 23 months and a $1,500 fine for DUI-highest rate; 142 days credit for time served. (Peck)

  • Erik Anthony Stiles (Hummelstown): 90 days to 18 months and 24 hours of community service for retail theft. (Placey)

  • Damian M. Harner: 90 to 730 days, 36 months of probation and a $1,500 fine for DUI-controlled substance and a $200 fine for drivers required to be licensed. (Placey)

Carlisle

  • Dustin A. Mulholland: 45 days to six months, 90 hours of community service, $400 in restitution and a $750 fine for DUI-general impairment with accident. (Placey)

Harrisburg

  • Christopher Q. Brown: Nine days to 23 months and a $100 fine for recklessly endangering another person and a $200 fine for driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked. (Peck)

New Cumberland

  • Jared J. Fuller: 20 days to six months and a $750 fine for DUI-high rate. (Peck)

Shippensburg

  • Jeremiah M. Beckett: 90 days to 5 years for DUI-highest rate. (Peck)

Other

  • Aaron Dean Atherton (Mount Union): 90 days to 24 months, 36 months of probation and a $1,500 fine for two counts of DUI-controlled substance. (Placey)
