- Taci Marie Rodriguez, 41, of Carlisle, was charged with accidents involving death or injury while not properly licensed and summary traffic violations following a Sept. 6 accident. Rodriguez was driving a vehicle that hit a pedestrian shortly before 5:58 p.m. at the intersection of West Louther Street and North Pitt Street, police said. The pedestrian was down on the road when police arrived and was being treated by fire and EMS personnel. Rodriguez’s driver’s license was suspended at the time. She was charged “due to the extent of the patient’s injuries,” police said. Police did not further describe the severity of the unidentified pedestrian’s injuries.
- Scott Edward Robinson, 36, of Carlisle, was charged with harassment and disorderly conduct following a Sept. 7 incident. Police said they were dispatched at 2 p.m. to the 100 block of Noble Boulevard and learned that Robinson had used obscene language and caused a disturbance inside a store.
- Michael Joseph Barrick, 35, of Carlisle, was charged Sept. 9 with loitering and prowling at nighttime, theft by unlawful taking and theft from a motor vehicle following an Aug. 24 incident. Police said they were dispatched at 6 a.m. to the 100 block of North Hanover Street for a theft from a vehicle. Security footage showed a man walking through the parking lots of an apartment building and the American Legion post, trying to open doors on vehicles. He entered an SUV and stole a small pendant, police said. A Crimewatch post led to the suspect being identified as Barrick. A summons was issued for him to appear at an Oct. 23 preliminary hearing.

- Mohamed M. Mansur, 67, of Harrisburg, was charged with simple assault and harassment following an Aug. 29 incident. Police said they were dispatched at 2:44 p.m. to the 800 block of Lee Lane for a domestic incident. Police investigated and determined that Mansur had engaged in a verbal argument with a woman and attempted to take her property. He then grabbed a kitchen knife, struck her and hit her with the knife, causing a cut on her head, police said. He was arraigned and confined to Cumberland County Prison, but posted $1,000 monetary bail.
