- Thomas Austin Campbell, 27, of Newville, was charged with felony burglary and robbery, as well as misdemeanor stalking, theft by unlawful taking, harassment and criminal mischief after a break-in in the 200 block of D Street at 8:13 p.m. Aug. 25. Police said Campbell had forcefully entered the residence through the back door and chased the victim through the house, taking a cellphone. Campbell is being held on $85,000 cash bail.
- Justin Marqui Jefferies, 32, of Carlisle, was charged with misdemeanor endangering the welfare of children, recklessly endangering another person and simple assault, and summary harassment, after a domestic incident in the 100 block of West Louther Street at 3:16 a.m. Sept. 1. Police said Jefferies struck a woman in the face while she was holding her infant son. The infant was also struck during the altercation, police said. Jefferies is being held on $12,000 cash bail.
- Jayson Trevor Adams, 28, of Carlisle, was charged with simple assault and harassment after a domestic incident in the 100 block of East High Street at 12:59 a.m. Sept. 2. Police said Adams struck a woman in the face while she was on the ground, causing injury. He fled before police arrived, but was arraigned on Sept. 2. He was released on $900 unsecured bail.
- Police are investigating an incident in which a smoking firecracker was placed inside a mailbox in the 300 block of Avon Drive at 12:33 a.m. Sept. 1. Two vehicles were seen pulling up to the mailbox and placing the firecracker inside. Police seek information.
