State Police in Carlisle (249-2121)

Someone stole about $3,300 in power tools from a workshop in an outbuilding in the 100 block of Lebo Road in Penn Township between midnight and 5:30 a.m. Nov. 1. Police say the owner determined that about 25 tools had been stolen. Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.

A Harrisburg man was injured when police say he lost control of a tractor-trailer while traveling south on I-81 in Middlesex Township around 3:55 a.m. Nov. 6. The truck left the road, struck a sign and then overturned onto its passenger side. Sean P. Kennedy, 40, was taken to Holy Spirit Hospital where he was treated and released.

Someone stole a Blue Kobalt toolbox from the South Middleton Township soccer fields between Oct. 26 and Oct. 31. The township soccer association used the toolbox for storing items needed to maintain the fields. Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.

Two white males sprayed an unknown black substance on a driveway in the 1100 block of Doubling Gap Road, Lower Mifflin Township without the permission of the 94-year-old male victim. The men requested a large-sum payment for their services. Police are investigating the incident that took place between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Sept. 23.

Someone entered a home in the 700 block of Creek Road in West Pennsboro Township between noon and 8 p.m. Oct. 28 and stole a bottle of prescription medicine. Entry was made through an unlocked back door.

Police have charged Cody Allen Farner, 19, of Berkley Springs, West Virginia, with forgery and related offenses after police say he passed counterfeit checks at a shopping center in Shippensburg Township between 3 and 7 p.m. April 12.

Someone vandalized three cars parked in the 200 block of North Prince Street in Shippensburg Township around 1:14 a.m. Nov. 5. Police say the damage included broken passenger side mirrors. Police seek information.

State Police in Newport (567-3110)

Two people were injured, one seriously, in a one-vehicle crash that took place around 2:33 a.m. Nov. 4 at the intersection of New Bloomfield and Dark Hollow roads in Wheatfield Township. Police say Travis P. Baker, 28, of Duncannon, was driving a 2016 Hyundai Elantra at an excessive speed when he lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway, striking several trees. Baker was injured, as was his passenger, David J. Garvey, 27, of New Bloomfield, who was ejected from the vehicle. The car was towed from the scene. Police believe alcohol may have been a factor. Baker was treated and released from Holy Spirit Hospital. The hospital had no record of Garvey.

State Police in Chambersburg (264-5161)

Someone tried to force open the front door of a residence in the 100 block of Marco Circle in Southampton Township, Franklin County, between 10:15 a.m. and 10:27 p.m. Nov. 6.
