- Drayton Ryan Powley, 20, of Enola, was charged with hindering apprehension after police responded to a residence in the 100 block of South Enola Drive about 3 p.m. June 9 for a report of a wanted person. Police said Powley told police that person had left earlier in the day, but that person was found in his bedroom.
Fairview Township Police (717-901-5267)
- Bradley Kurt Bush, 42, of New Cumberland, was charged with aggravated assault, strangulation, simple assault and harassment after a domestic incident in the 300 block of Hillcrest Drive shortly after 5 p.m. June 9. Police said a woman, who had visible injuries to her face, told them she slapped Bush when she caught him snorting drugs in the bathroom. He responded by throwing her on a bed and holding a pillow over her face, trying to suffocate her, police said. The woman got away, but he punched her in the hallway, causing her to fall into the wall. Bush denied punching or suffocating her when talking to police. The woman also had a broken bone in her elbow due to the fall.
