North Middleton Township Police (717-243-7910)
- Two drivers and three passengers were transported to area hospitals after a crash in the 1800 block of Spring Road on Feb. 25. Police said the striking vehicle was traveling south and crossed the center lane, hitting the vehicle traveling in the northbound lane. The drivers had to be extricated from their vehicles, and Cumberland Goodwill EMS and Silver Spring EMS responded to transport those injured to hospitals. The two vehicles were towed from the scene and fire police assisted with traffic control.
Upper Allen Township Police (717-795-2445)
- One person was injured after a crash at the intersection of Kim Acres Drive and Aspen Drive at 12:38 p.m. Feb. 19. Police said Deborah Mowery, 66, of Mechanicsburg, turned left into the path of a vehicle driven by Rudy Yandrick, 61, of Mechanicsburg. Mowery suffered injuries and was transported by EMS for treatment. The crash disabled both vehicles.
- Steve Carman, 57, of Mechanicsburg, was charged with felony theft by unlawful taking and misdemeanor unauthorized use of a motor vehicle after police received a report on Feb. 1 from a residence in the 400 block of Ricky Road. The vehicle was located in East Cocalico Township, Lancaster County, after township police there initiated a traffic stop later that same day on the stolen car. Carman was identified and taken into custody. He waived his charges to higher court during a preliminary hearing on Feb. 25.
